The Black Diamond Wilderness Experience offers a variety of exciting outdoor adventures and courses that will put your mettle to the test – all infused with inspirational discipleship, outdoor education, and opportunities to form new relationships and strengthen existing ones. There is no better place to escape the trappings of this world and experience what it means to be a true disciple of God’s Word than in the wilderness surrounded by His natural creations.

Our exciting outdoor adventure courses offer much more than your average mountain-top experience. We focus on developing each participant as an accomplished outdoor enthusiast or professional through a wide variety of courses taught in outdoor settings in the Lower Rockies at Camp Eagle, New Mexico, at Camp Eagle in the Texas Hill Country, and at a variety of our nations most unique wilderness locations.

Email, Mail & Packages

Campers LOVE to get mail! You can leave it with us when you drop off your camper. Or mail it, but just remember to send it a week ahead.

Writing to Campers

Letters from home can reassure your children that home still exists while they are temporarily away, and affirm their new found independence.

There is no app for this. Stop, listen and look around. Nature is amazing! Enjoy it while you can. Please leave your cell phones and devices at home.

We want kids to establish their independence. But if there’s a home emergency, contact the camp Director and we’ll arrange a call.

Arts & Crafts

You'll leave with tan lines from all the beaded bracelets you've made and traded with your new besties. Get ready for paint under your nails and a bunch of souvenirs.

Basketball

Ball hard, or maybe just a game of horse. Whatever your game, come break a sweat on our full court. Pick up moves with other campers from around the country, or take 'em to school like you do at home.

Bouldering Wall

You may only be a few feet off the ground, but that doesn’t make it easy. You’ll need balance, footwork, and strategy to beat our bouldering wall!

Campouts

The stars never looked prettier. The moon never looked brighter. The s’mores never tasted sweeter. Get outside and experience life like no other in God’s beautiful creation.

Camp Store

Maybe you want the latest shirt, or a new comfy hoodie. Maybe you need a bigger coffee mug, or a fresh new water bottle to cover with stickers. Whatever the occasion, this stuff is the best!

Coffee Shop

When you’re in the land of coffee, you drink a lot of coffee. It’s okay, we do too. Come enjoy a nice, warm atmosphere in our Mountaintop Coffee Shop and grab a cup!

Disc Golf

Can you curve the frisbee through the trees? You’ll have it down after you play here! Come test your skill on our technical course!

Dodgeball is better when you glow in the dark...

Drift Trikes

Fuzzy wristbands, Keds, and sliding sideways on a Big Wheel made for some serious street cred back in the day. Well, we've amped it up.

Guaranteed to break the ice. This is camp-olympics! From scavenger hunts to more inventive contests, you're sure to make a few new friends along the way.

Ga-ga wha? Trust us, it's not for babies. Part dodge ball, part tag and part king of the hill, it takes action to another level. Stay with it. Rule the octagon!

Get outside and into the beautiful nature God created for us. There are miles of trails through our dense forest that any adventurer will enjoy!

We're not just full of hot air when we say, "If it inflates, it's great!" Bounce through our collection of endless obstacles and feel your excitement balloon.

Mountain Bikes

Big trees, big roots, big rocks. These forests go big, and you should too. Hop on and get ready to shred the gnar.

Rappelling

Your heart pounds as you overcome your nerves and step off the edge. What were you thinking? Total focus. Step by step. Now you're down, confident. Again!

The high-flying thrill of our zip lines can be a lot. That's why we've developed a course that's just right for building confidence in our younger campers.

There’s nothing normal about this. You’re jumping out of a perfectly good tree. One of the biggest trees on camp, at that. Harness up, clip in, and get ready to fly!

Indoor Pool

It’s chilly outside, but that doesn’t mean you can’t swim! Our heated, indoor pool is perfect for every season!

Crane Yard

Are you agile enough to get across? Use that ninja skill of yours and see if you’re among the few to make it to the other side.

3D Climbing Wall

Because climbing regular holds was too easy. Climb the crane, or maybe the logging truck? Which path will you choose?

Are you a climbing purist? Want to send it on a more traditional route? We’ve got you covered. Chalk up and hit the wall.

BB guns are a lot of fun for beginners and expert shooters alike. Squeeze off a few pellets and plink some targets, and you'll see what we mean.

Creek

Come fish for some crawdads, or just relax and dip your toes in the water. Either way, you’re in nature and that’s pretty neat!

Sometimes you just need to kick back and swing for a little while.
